Grades k-adult teachers. Over 2100 sites easily searchable by keyword or can do a search specifying subject &/or grade level &/or type &/or Dewey Number. Categories for type are: tools, references, lesson plans, hotlists, information resources, tutorials, activities, projects. Rated, and evaluation rubric is online. Updated monthly. You can sign up to get an email describing new sites.
Busy Teachers’ Website -Elementary ..........
Grades k-8 teachers. This section of the site has alphabetical annotated links to sites appropriate for elementary grades. Clicking on a subject box at the side brings up a K-12 subjects directory to explore further.The simple, clean listing is not overwhelming to the timid or rushed user.
Curriculum Corner ..........
Grades k-8 teachers. Mount Laurel Township Schools Curriculum Team (NJ) maintains this site to share curriculum resources. The Online Resources section contains categorized and annotated links to selected sites. The Lesson Repository section contains downloadable lesson plans and activities organized by subject and grade level. There are other restricted sections. This site makes up in quality what it lacks in quantity. Don't let the areas restricted to their staff discourage you from exploring; there are some unique items here, and interesting ways of presenting their information.

Search engine of over 110,000 sites; browse subjects or keyword. Not easy to isolate level. Funded by several corporate sponsors and advertisers.
Grades 1-12 teachers. Click a category for access to thousands of selected K-12 educational links. Levels are not given except as indicated in the annotation. Focus is on the upper levels, but this is still a quick check for elementary curriculum and education issues. Clipart section. Sign up for free weekly email newsletter. Grades k-12 teachers. Provides access to thousands of quality Internet lesson plans, curriculum units and other education resources. Browse by subject, type, level or keyword lists; or enter a search term and refine by listed parameters. A video clip teaches use of the site search tools. Retrieved records will link directly to the Internet resources they describe. Use at your grade level may take some adaptation. An educational consortium project.

Grades k-12 teachers. Not specific to elementary, but contains some unique materials for elementary. Hundreds of links classified into 23 subjects. Updated often and award winning. Searchable, and also has an alphabetical index.

Grades 1-8 teachers. Categorized list of links to favorite sites of an elementary teacher. Subject "Lesson Plan Sites" includes sites to use in lesson planning as well as sites with lesson plans. Also teacher resources, and student sites.
MarcoPolo Now named Thinkfinity
Grades pres-8 teachers. Contains categorized links of information and lesson plans for many subject areas, classroom management tips, special education information for all teachers, and technology integration. This directory is searchable. Has message boards for teacher sharing by specific grade as well as a blogs section. Teacher shared ideas are being archived as a searchable collection.
Scholastic - Teachers ..........
Grades pres-8 teachers. 0nline classroom activities, lesson plans, articles, tools and templates; as well as information about Scholastic products. Browse or search teaching ideas by grade span: preschool-k, 1-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12. Note you can easily find yourself in the general Scholastic site; just click the <Scholastic Home> button then click <Teachers> in the leftside menu.

Grades k-12 teachers. Various types of resources. Annotates the most used of over 1100 sites that have registered, as ranked by a link in/link out weekly popularity count. Grade levels are not indicated except in some annotations. Key word searchable. Tip: You may find some interesting items at the end of the list that are new or not included on other lists.
Surfing the Net with Kids ..........
Grades preschool-10 teachers. Barbara Feldman’s favorite sites for kids with reviews and ratings. Topical organization but a keyword search will locate a word within an entry. Calendar section reviews sites on topics relevant to the date. Sign up to get a weekly email of website recommendations. Good reviews although grade level is not given.
Teachers First ..........
Grades 1-8 teachers. Professional and classroom resources include both links and lesson plans by subject. Select from a content subject-level matrix or do a keyword search by grade(s) for a more specific topic. Use the drop-down menu across the top or complete the free membership form. Generally good annotations and reviews with suggested grade levels for each.The source and a label indicating type of material is given when pertinent.
Teaching with the Web ..........
Grades k-12 teachers. Links organized by alphabetical list of themes within grade level groups K-2, 3-5, 6-8. The themes definitely match the curricula for primary and intermediate. Sites for both student use and for teachers. Also section of Reference Sites for Teachers on the 3-5 page.
Grades k-12 teachers. Links to sites with information and lessons in many curricular areas, selected and reviewed by panel of experts. Key word or Boolean search can be limited by subject, grade span, and to only lesson plans or no lesson plans. Grade level is given with each resource annotation. Resources for training to use Thinkfinity for internet content in the classroom are being developed.
Sites sponsored and maintained by publishers of elementary materials can be good resources for the teacher, especially if their materials are being used in your classroom.
Education Place ..........
Grades k-8 teachers. Sponsored by Houghton Mifflin. Resources for reading/language arts, science, social studies, mathematics. Links correlate with textbook series. Monthly themes. A searchable activity database. Lots of good resources whether or not you're using Houghton Mifflon textbooks. Access to sections for kids and for parents also on the homepage.
